Highlights of 2009 included top twenty finishes at the Masters, the US Open and the US PGA. Produced one of the shots of the year to win the inaugural Ballantine’s Championship in a thrilling sudden-death play-off in March 2008. That victory sparked the beginning of an amazing season that yielded a second victory at the Barclays Scottish Open and a Ryder Cup debut against the USA at Valhalla Golf Club.

Won his maiden European Tour title on only his fourth start in the 2002 Scandinavian Masters.
